NFP Welcomes Michelle Ross, Head of Broking, West Region

NEW YORK, February 26, 2026 — NFP, an Aon company and leading property and casualty (P&C) broker and benefits consultant, today announced the hire of Michelle Ross as vice president, head of P&C Broking, for its West region. Ross previously served as NFP’s California broking leader.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Michelle back to NFP as she steps into the newly created role of head of West Broking,” said Brian Bonnell, managing director of P&C in NFP’s West region. “As we expand our P&C capabilities in this region, Michelle’s strategic vision, operational discipline and competitive insight will be instrumental in driving growth. Her leadership will strengthen carrier relationships, broking excellence and foster a culture of innovation that empowers clients and positions the organization for long-term success.”

With over three decades in the commercial insurance industry, Ross has been a partner and advocate for mid-market businesses across Southern California. Most recently, she worked as a commercial lines and marketing leader at Brown & Brown. Ross holds a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) certification from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc., an Associate in General Insurance (AINS) certification from the Institutes Knowledge Group and a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) Elite certification from the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance.
