NEW YORK - June 8, 2021 - NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides property and casualty (P&C), corporate benefits, retirement, and individual solutions, today announced that Marc Tauber has joined the company as a senior vice president within its Financial Institutions Group (FIG).

Tauber joins NFP from Aon, bringing over 21 years of financial institutions (FI) experience working with investment management firms (mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity firms), commercial and investment banks, insurance and reinsurance companies.

His areas of focus and product specialty expertise include: directors & officers (D&O), FI errors & omissions (E&O), fiduciary, employment practices, cyber and crime insurance. Prior to his years of broking, Marc led FI focused underwriting teams for both Zurich and QBE. Tauber spent two decades in various roles on Wall Street, before entering the insurance industry, including equity research, marketing and trading, giving him firsthand insight into the operations of investment banks and alternative investment firms. He will report to Mark Flippen, managing director of NFP's Financial Institutions Group (FIG).

'Having known and actively traded with Marc for over a decade when he was on the underwriting side, we are absolutely thrilled to welcome him to the FIG team,' said Flippen. 'With the rapid growth of our business and significant gain of market share in the FI industry over the past two years, we expect Marc to be a leader on the team. His diverse experience, working for and on behalf of a variety of financial institutions, will help us continue our momentum, advance our leadership in the industry and expand the impact of our capabilities for our current and future clients.'

'NFP's focus on adding experts in specific industry verticals, including financial institutions, creates an opportunity to help clients manage their unique and complex risks,' said Tauber. 'I'm excited to contribute to NFP's growth, help our clients solve problems, and be part of a fast growing team of talented individuals.'
