David joined NFP as senior vice president in May of 2023. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, investment advisor, insurance broker, estate planner and employee benefits specialist, David brings a wealth of financial knowledge to each client and their unique challenges.

He has over 40 years of experience and commitment to his work, having founded the firm David A. Marcus and Associates prior to its acquisition by NFP. David excels in helping clients protect their current wealth and create long-term futures. His experience, talent and dedication allow him to deliver clear and focused planning to his clients, which he will continue to do in his role at NFP.

David specializes in business and estate planning with an emphasis on preserving and building estates through forward-looking financial strategies. He is well-versed in individual and business financial issues and stays on top of the constant changes in the financial landscape. His expertise, resources and exceptional track record enable him to help clients meet their insurance, investment, pension and personal financial planning needs.

David earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with honors from Arizona State University. He currently holds Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses.
