HOUSTON – January 25, 2023 – NFP, a leading property and casualty broker, benefits consultant, wealth manager and retirement advisor, today announced the hiring of Michael MacCrory as senior vice president within its Energy & Marine practice. In this role, MacCrory will contribute to the ongoing growth of NFP’s Specialty business. He reports to Vilma Vanegas, senior vice president, practice leader, Energy & Marine.

MacCrory joins NFP from Marsh, serving most recently as managing director and placement leader for the Marsh Houston Excess Team, working on the company’s largest midstream and downstream energy accounts. Prior to this, he was team lead for the Umbrella/Excess Coverage and Excess & Surplus Lines business at John L. Wortham & Son, L.P. MacCrory holds a Chartered Professional Casualty Underwriter designation from The Institutes and has more than four decades of specialized insurance expertise within the energy industry.
