Upcoming Webinar: OSHA Guidance on Employer COVID-19 Vaccine & Alternative Testing Mandate


Recently, OSHA published its guidance on the employer COVID-19 vaccine and testing mandate. At a high level, the mandate requires employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their employees are vaccinated or are tested weekly. OSHA’s guidance addresses many of the questions employers had on the mandate, including how to count employees, how to verify vaccination status and administer testing, how booster shots play into the equation, the types of allowed testing, employee notification requirements, and the effective date. NOTE: The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit is scheduled to hear legal challenges to the ETS. In connection with those legal challenges, OSHA recently suspended implementation and enforcement of the ETS and the vaccine mandate/testing, pending future development in the courts.
