NFP Acquires Fullerton Insurance Service, Inc., Reinforces Presence in West
Acquisition creates a larger presence in the Southern California marketplace

NEW YORK – November 6, 2018 – NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property and casualty (P&C), retirement and individual private client solutions, today announced that it has acquired Fullerton Insurance Service, Inc. (Fullerton). The transaction closed effective Oct. 1, 2018.

Founded in 1929, Fullerton is an insurance broker located in Southern California that provides P&C and group benefits capabilities to commercial and personal clients. Former principals of the firm, Leslie and Kevin McCarthy, will join NFP as vice presidents of NFP’s P&C division, reporting to Roger Wilber, a senior vice president of NFP’s P&C division.

"We are excited to welcome Leslie, Kevin and the entire Fullerton team to the NFP family," said Paul Saich, regional managing director, West region. "This acquisition adds significant P&C depth and commercial expertise to our team and creates a consolidated, full-service P&C hub in Southern California."

"We are thrilled for this new chapter and believe that NFP is the perfect fit for the Fullerton team," said Leslie McCarthy. "Our clients will benefit tremendously from these expanded resources and services — and the shift will reinforce our growing presence in the West."
