NEW YORK – April 4, 2018 – NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property & casualty (P&C), retirement and individual private client solutions, today announced that it has acquired Foote’s Insurance Agency, Inc. The transaction closed on January 31, 2018.
Based in Vergennes, Vermont, Foote’s Insurance is a P&C broker specializing in small personal and commercial lines. Douglas Hawley, president of the firm, will become a producer in NFP’s P&C division, reporting to Dan Lussier, managing director of P&C at NFP.
