On May 12, 2015, the Texas Commissioner of Insurance filed an adopted rule concerning changes to Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) contact information, changes to toll-free numbers, changes to information and complaint procedures and changes to the department website. The adoption updates references to old TDI telephone numbers, facsimile numbers, email addresses and the old website address and street address. Employers should ensure they are using current contact information when contacting TDI. The statutory effective date for the adopted rule is June 1, 2015.
