The NFP Benefits Compliance Portal is a tool designed to help employer plan sponsors of group health plans comply with federal requirements such as COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA and PPACA. The portal was recently updated to reflect several changes, including:

• Increased penalties under ERISA, HIPAA, the employer mandate and PPACA reporting
• Annual limits for employee contributions to a health FSA and maximum out-of-pocket amount for medical plans
• Added and revised links to additional resources
